Arte e Cultura Italiana

Maleeka The first week in Italy was filled with unforgettable experiences in places like Mestre, Venice, Montecatini and Florence. When we arrived in Siena both the art and English students started to work on course material. In English class we are studying famous works by Italian authors such as Luigi Pirandello and Dante. Through understanding Dante's perception of the after life we learned life lessons that we reflected on and can implement in our daily lives. I'm looking forward to learning more and travelling to Rome next week! Images taken today during class by Shae Isabella. The English course has been amazing. We've read works of Machiavelli and Dante. I'm so in love with Dante's writing because it is so beautiful. This course has made me analyze the most important aspects of life like love, morals and perception of the afterlife. I would take this trip again if I could. The literature is enthralling and Siena is breathtaking. Artist, Magdalena Buon Compleanno to Elisabeth. Ms. Rocca presented her student with a cake and keepsake card signed by our travel family. We hope your birthday spent with us will always be a cherished memory. Students worked hard today are enjoying free time this evening in the campo. Buona Notte!
