Dolce Vita

Our home away from home experience is slowly coming to an end. Tomorrow will be our last day in Siena before we travel to Rome as our grand finale to this remarkable journey. But before we speak of tomorrow and the days to come we want to savour each moment right now-today! Finalizing our credit expectations, English students wrote their final exam this morning. Ms. Meschino diligently marked all works, provided thorough feedback and is in the process of tabulating final grades. Art students submitted their CPT's in what looked like the leaning tower of sketchbooks as Ms. Rocca evaluated each. Students prepared and prepped for their final portfolio exam. This afternoon, a group of students took the local bus up the road to a pool with Ms. Rocca and supervisor Luca. We enjoyed a refreshing afternoon by the water. The remaining group went with Ms. Battista to visit Siena's duomo. Tomorrow we will switch groups and the second group will visit the pool and duomo. We will be gathering in the garden shortly for our dinner where we know we will enjoy a delicious meal shared in friendship!

  2. Hello Luisa we have acclimatized so well here with temperatures reaching 40 degrees that 33 degrees sounds chilly! Luckily, we have had a break with the heat wave and wish you cool thoughts!!!
