Reflections

On our last few days of class we are concentrating on completing our course work. I enjoyed seeing places on our tours that relate to the things we are learning in class. It was fascinating to see Dante's and Machiavelli's tombs. Dante's journey through hell was intriguining and Machiavelli's theory that the end justifies the means can be seen in modern day literature. I would recommend this trip because you can experience school life in Siena all the while sipping a cappuccino and enjoying Italian culture. The best part is earning an English credit while eating gelato and enjoying the view. Jacqueline A. and Alana M. Students completing their oral presentations while art students created their final portfolio piece. Today's lesson was in the campo sketching a watercolour collage of impressionable vignettes.
